Puerta del Istmo

The “Puerta del Istmo” Free Zone is the first Free Zone approved under the “Santo Tomás de Castilla” Free Zone of Industry and Commerce -ZOLIC-, and authorized by the Superintendence of Tax Administration -SAT-, it is located at Km. 249.5 of the Municipality of Pajapita in the Department of San Marcos, Guatemala on the Guatemala – Mexico border and only 500 meters from the Tecún Umán II Customs Office.

The project starts with an area of 77 thousand mts2 and a growth capacity of up to 3.5 million mts2. Phase 1 has a warehouse area of 35 thousand mts2 with ample maneuvering yards, parking spaces and administrative offices, as well as developed land for users to build their facilities.
