Camantulul Industrial is a master-planned industrial and logistics park in Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa, Escuintla, built on decades of prior investment in education and infrastructure by Corporación Madre Tierra, including the southern campus of Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, Colegio Americano del Sur, Colegio Madre Tierra, and INTECAP’s regional training center, Guatemala’s leading technical training institution.

These institutions have trained the region’s workforce in welding, machinery maintenance, industrial equipment operation, accounting management, blueprint reading, and equipment assembly—the specific skills that auto parts, construction materials, food and beverage, and logistics operations need from day one.

The park draws power through a redundant energy ring connecting the region’s sugar mills, with on-site generation drawing primarily from renewable sources. This structure gives tenants power continuity backed by multiple interconnected sources, instead of a single supply line.

Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa sits on the CA-2 corridor toward Puerto Quetzal, in one of the areas currently seeing the most industrial development activity in Guatemala, with proximity to Central American markets and strong commercial ties to the United States. Camantulul’s own construction is already underway, part of that broader momentum.
