With over 50 years of presence in the nation, the Swiss company opened its largest distribution center of the region in Guatemala. The country provides a competitive advantage for the firm owing to its location, and as a result, it continues to trust and invest in order to consolidate its position as a leading nutrition company.

Part of AB-InBev group (Brazil), the world's largest brewing firm; AmBev came in Guatemala in 2003 as part of a collaboration with the company Central American Bottling Corporation - CBC. After 19 years, the company continues to reinforce its commitment to Guatemala, ranking among the top ten corporations in the area in 2022, according to Summa magazine.

With the establishment of a facility in Chimaltenango in 1990, Guatemala became the first operation outside of Mexico. Grupo Bimbo solidified its position as the world's largest bakery firm in 2011, with operations in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Bimbo Guatemala is now one of the country's largest and most recognizable corporations. It comprises a primary distribution center, 16 sales and supply centers, a manufacturing factory, and over 1,500 individuals working every day to feed a better world.
